TMJ Disfunction, also called TMD describes either long term or acute pain in the joint that connects the jaw to the skull just below and behind the ear. The cause of TMJ includes a wide variety of conditions such as arthritis, structural deformities, and trauma. It can lead to localized pain, difficulty chewing, tinnitus, migraines, ear aches, etc.
