"I was playing hockey and was tripped into the boards separating my collar bone. Unfortunately it happened one week before the golf courses opened and my dues were already paid. I was told at the hospital, that golfing would be out for at least 8 weeks. A few days later I heard an advertisement for laser therapy and decided to try it. There was some improvement in the second week, however unfortunately I over did it and had a small set back. Amphy told me not to work too hard during the early stages of recovery. I continued with the laser treatment and let the shoulder recuperate properly. There is still a little pain after five weeks but not enough to stop me from golfing. I played my first round four weeks and a day from the time of the injury. I would recommend laser therapy because it helped me recover much faster and allowed me to get back on the golf course much earlier than originally suggested but the doctors.
